These conditions all fall under the traditional Chinese medical disease category of xuan yun or dizziness and vertigo and are treatable by acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine in our clinics.
Dizziness is a condition with feelings such as lightheadedness, giddiness, depersonalization (the feeling that one is outside one's body), a sense of turning, spinning or rocking. Sometimes a sensation inside the head and other times related to problems with balance.
Vertigo is an illusion of movement, a sensation as if the external world were revolving around the patient (objective vertigo) or as if he himself were revolving in space (subjective vertigo).
Meniere's Disease is a disorder characterized by recurrent prostrating vertigo, loss or diminution of auditory acuity, tinnitus, and a feeling of fullness in the ear. The average treatment is 3 to 4 visits.
